NSCDC Officer reportedly k!dn@pped in Ekiti, Release Video Showing Victim Brutally Bəaten.

A deeply disturbing video circulating online has brought attention to a growing insecurity crisis in Nigeria. Social commentator and activist Rinu Oduala posted a harrowing clip of an NSCDC officer who was reportedly kidnapped by terrorists in Ekiti State. The video, which has since gone viral, shows the officer being brutally beaten while pleading for mercy. His captors, heavily armed and unidentified, forced him to face forward as they struck him with a cane, while he sobbed and begged them to stop.

As of the time of Oduala’s post, no rescue operation had been launched, and the exact location within Ekiti remains unclear. This incident raises urgent questions about the nation’s security apparatus. Why are these officers left vulnerable, and why is a swift rescue not underway?

This case is a stark reminder of the need for urgent action. Security agencies must intensify their efforts to locate and rescue this officer and prevent similar atrocities in the future. As citizens, we must demand transparency, timely interventions, and better protection for all security personnel who risk their lives daily.

We stand in solidarity with the officer and his family, and we call for immediate action to bring him back to safety.
