WATCH: Kaduna Community Cares for Newborn After Mother Abducted by Terrorists in Kajuru LGA

Residents of a community in Kajuru Local Government Area of Kaduna State have reportedly taken responsibility for a newborn baby after the child’s mother was abducted during a terrorist attack.

According to local sources, armed assailants stormed the area, carrying out a kidnapping operation that left several residents traumatized. Among those taken was a nursing mother, leaving her newborn behind.

With the mother in captivity, members of the community have reportedly rallied together to care for the infant, providing food, shelter, and support while hoping for the safe return of the abducted woman.

The situation highlights the ongoing security challenges facing parts of Kaduna State, particularly in rural communities vulnerable to attacks and kidnappings.

Kajuru LGA has experienced repeated incidents involving armed groups, with residents frequently calling for increased security presence and stronger intervention from authorities.

Kidnappings for ransom have become a persistent threat in parts of northern Nigeria, affecting families and disrupting livelihoods.

Community leaders and residents are urging security agencies to intensify efforts to rescue those abducted and restore safety to the area.
